Here's a clip from Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13! movie (spoilers):
"Dragon Ball Z (ドラゴンボールZ(ゼット) Doragon Bōru Zetto?, commonly abbreviated as DBZ) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z is the sequel to the Dragon Ball anime and adapts the last 325 chapters of the original 519-chapter Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama, that were published from 1988 to 1995 in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Dragon Ball Z first aired in Japan from April 25, 1989 to January 31, 1996 on Fuji TV,[1] before being dubbed in several territories around the world, including the United States, Australia, Europe, India, and Latin America." - Wikipedia

And here's my Vecto: Vengeance scene of the week:
(Previously: Leroy manages to slip through Vecto's shields using chi energy. The scene shifts to Crysilis and Streamline.)
Crysilis and Streamline ran through a cornfield; they stormed through the crops and came to a pathway. Straight ahead was smoke rising from a log cabin on the peak of a hill. It must have been Leroy's place, Crysilis thought. They continued up the hill and stopped in front of the home.
"Hello?" Crysilis called out. "Anyone here?"
Streamline panned the primitive building and tools. No metal, no technology--what kind of place was this, he thought.
"Welcome," came a voice behind them.
Crysilis and Streamline spun around to see a male around the age of 18 who looked to be of Asian-American decent. He had a black ponytail braided from a top knot, was 5 feet 10 inches tall, and wore a form-fitting tunic-type shirt with closures at the neck and wrists.
"May I assist you?" The guy bowed.
"Uh, yes," Crysilis spoke up. "We're looking for a robot named Vecto and the owner of this land, Leroy Johnson."
"Follow me," the greeter said, walking toward the cabin.
* * *
Vecto was now running across a field of long grass. His shields were burning from the chi around him as he headed for towering windmills. Bubbles of energy formed and exploded around him as he sifted through the mine field. But Leroy wasn't in sight. The explosions stopped, and Vecto noticed the grass blowing westward. He scanned for Leroy. Nowhere. He looked at the windmills turning from the breeze. When he did, a gust of wind shook them, causing them to spin erratically.
"I'm get'n hungry," Leroy called out, hovering in front of one the windmills. "Time t' end this little fiasco!" He formed chi energy around his fists, channeling the energy around him to focus it
"I will not lose!" Vecto yelled back. His shields expanded, plowing through the ground, sending grass and dirt in the air as it sucked carbon, killing the grass around him.
Leroy jetted down at Vecto, forming a cluster of blue energy around his fist. But Vecto stood still. The air rippled by Leroy as Vecto's body came into view. Vecto was standing there, holding an arm up, only, he was missing a hand--worse yet, his gun.
"Dag gummit!!" Leroy yelled. He immediately stopped in midair and spun around to see a zero point energy blast headed for him. He quickly shot the energy from his fist away as the blast struck him, pushing him toward Vecto. Vecto had his fist ready and pounded Leroy in the back, crushing him against the energy, plowing him through it. The blast split and pounded on Vecto's shield as Leroy was thrown. His body tumbled across the field as pieces of his clothing and his tattered hat flew from his body. He settled in the middle of the field with his head buried in dirt, his hat floating beside him.
Vecto was satisfied that he won. Somehow, he felt weaker, and it took more effort to walk to Leroy's body. Was the magnetic floatation disks joining his body failing, he wondered. It didn't matter. He stepped beside Leroy's body and lowered his Blaster 3,000 from high in the air. The cylinder gun sifted through the shields and relocated in front his arm.
"Now tell me where Zendora is," Vecto ordered, pointing the gun at him.
No response.
"Leroy, I need to know," Vecto said, lowering the gun. "I won this match."
Leroy was still face-first on the ground. Steam from the blast impact smoked in the air from his body.
"Leroy?" Vecto asked again, a little concerned. He reached down and flipped over his body. His face and body was scarred and burnt as blood seeped from his skin.
"Leroy!" Vecto yelled as he scanned his body for a pulse. Did he overdue it, Vecto thought. Did he kill him?
(Did Vecto kill Leroy? If so, how will he find out where Zendora is, and how will the others respond? Find out in the next installment of Vecto: Vengeance!)
